Illustrated gallery guide, workshops and live illustrations for Young V&A and Leaders in Community.

In a series of workshops with local mums at Leaders in Community, we explored self portraiture and different ways of expressing ourselves through art and creative play. We explored stamp printing, mark making, silhouettes, collage and riso printing, and in-between sessions the group made some beautiful 3D and 2D experiments in their sketchbook. The project culminated in a special event at the Young V&A, with an exhibition showcasing the women’s work and creative workshops based on the activities we’d done with the group.

To round off the project, I was commissioned to create this learning resource that acted both as a keepsake of the project, and an activity workbook for members to complete in the gallery or takeaway.
