I run playful illustration and drawing workshops for museums, brands, cultural organisations and events in London - for all ages and abilities!
Alongside my own practice as an artist, I am also a workshop facilitator and illustration teacher with seven years of experience. My number one aim of all my workshops is to encourage creative confidence, an opportunity to loosen up and experiment - all in a friendly and communal environment.
I’ve previously run workshops for: Young V&A, the Design Museum, Moleskine, Here After Vintage, The Big Draw and the National Portrait Gallery.
My workshops focus on mixed-media illustration, drawing and collage, inspired by themes such as food, fashion, artists, nature, design and observational drawing.
Basically, they’re inspired by topics and techniques that really excite and inspire me - and I hope they will inspire you too!
I also teach regular illustration courses at City Lit.

In these sessions I break down some of the key principles of illustration, helping participants create a bespoke illustration to take away. As well as drawing, we focus on design, planning, composition and experimentation with different media.

Are you interested in plein air drawing (that’s just french for drawing outdoors) or sketching from life?
I run sketch walks and observational drawing classes around London, with a focus on gaining confidence sketching in public, understanding the basic principles of perspective and proportion (and knowing when to break them), utilising colour and materials in interesting ways and embracing the challenges in drawing from life.
These are a great way to explore or showcase an area, whilst learning and creating art in a group setting.

Not your classic ‘paint by numbers’ affair - I run fun and creative illustration workshops and ‘sip and sketch’ sessions for corporate, influencer or brand events.
I’m equally happy working with art lovers and people who haven’t picked up a paint brush since art class in year nine. My facilitation style is encouraging and playful, and I love creating a social, relaxing and friendly workshop environment.

Artist-led workshops for museums and galleries
I love working with museums and galleries to run workshops exhibition or a permanent collection. I have experience running sessions for both family and adult audiences.
Previous collaborations include storyzines at the Design Museum, collaged portraits at the National Portrait Gallery, artist inspired sip-and-sketch at The Courtauld Galleries and imaginary film poster design at the Young V&A.
I can recreate a previous workshop, or develop something brand new based on your learning aims.

Who are your workshops for?

My workshops are for all ages and abilities, for people from aged 4 - 104! I can run workshops for people with an existing arts practice, or people who don’t usually get a chance to be creative and need a place to start.
Do you run public workshops?

Currently, I mostly run workshops in collaboration with museums and brands, which are often ticketed and open to the public. I also run short courses at City Lit. I am hoping to run more of my own drawing workshops in the future.
Can you design a custom workshop?

Absolutely! I love coming up with new workshop ideas that suit your learning objectives or themes. Equally, I’m happy to reuse previous workshop formats, and tweak them to suit your needs.
