Live Portrait Illustration

Live portraits are a brilliant way to engage with your guests, get to know your community and provide some interactive fun to an event. I love doing live illustration because I get to meet, chat to and draw so many interesting people!

I create quirky and expressive drawings using my signature mixed-media approach, that capture the sitters unique personality and style.

Hand-drawn portrait of a woman with dark hair wearing a green top and pink apron, with the name 'Nicole' written in the upper right corner and 'Lucia Vinti' in the lower right corner.
A hand-drawn portrait of a woman with glasses, pink lipstick, and green hair, wearing a green jacket. The drawing is signed 'Lucia Vanti' in the bottom right corner and has the name 'Helen' written in green on the top right.
Two women sitting indoors, one with long blonde hair and green feather scarf, holding a drawing of two women, and the other with dark hair and tattoos, holding the same drawing. The background features a brick wall and wooden staircase.

“Lucia's live portraits were such a fun and special addition to our event. They were a really cute and personalised take home, adding to the overall unique experience of our event and was extremely popular. Lucia was amazing to work with and was so friendly and professional.

Having Lucia doing live drawing will add the *next level* to any event and I hope to work with her again at future events!”

Live portraits for brand events

Add a creative touch to your next event with live portraits as gifts for your guests!

I can work on branded paper and even illustrate using brand colours for illustrations.

As well as adding a great interactive element to an event, live portraits can provide something fun for guests to share on social media after the event.

My bold and playful way of drawing is perfect for brands who want to stand out from the crowd and provide something a bit different.

Live portraits for consultancy and community work

Things people don’t like: answering feedback forms, interview questions or ‘stopping for quick chat’ about your project.

Things people do like: Free art that represents them!

A hand drawn portrait is an excellent way to get people engaged with your project and get to know your community. Whether you want to speak to members of the public, or add a bit of interest to an event, having people sit for a short live portrait can help people relax whilst they fill in feedback forms, answer interview questions or just have a little chat.

Live portraits can also be scanned in before being given to the client, providing unique and personality-filled assets for presentations, bids and more.

P.S. I offer a sliding scale for charities and community organisations.

How it works:

I can do speedy 5 minute portraits, or more detailed 10 minute ones of individuals. I can also draw couples, which takes around 7 or 13 minutes.

I provide all the materials, I just need a table with three chairs and good lighting.

You can optionally provide branded paper, or stickers/stamps to apply to my paper.

Optional service to scan in the portraits before I give them away to guests (adds about 5 mins per portrait)
